Christian used to be a Guide. He also has over 13 years experience in arranging and selling tours. He has a wealth of knowledge on the Galapagos as well as the tours on the Mainland. Whatever your interests, he is sure to be able to tailor a complete vacation experience to meet your needs. Christian speaks fluently English, Spanish and French.
FERNANDA - Reservations
Fernanda is our Galapagos expert. She can answer all your questions and help you organize everything you need for your trip. Fernanda speaks English, Spanish, German and French.
XAVIER – Transfers QUITO If you have arranged transfers then Xavier will be waiting for you at the airport to take you to your hotel.
MARIA ELENA & ANDREA – Airport Assistance QUITO You will always have somebody from Haugan Cruises to assist you at the airport. In Quito, this will be Maria Elena, Andrea or your reservations contact. Maria Elena speaks English, German, Spanish and French. Andrea is her assistant and speaks English, Italian and Spanish.
WIM – Transfers & Airport Assistance GUAYAQUIL
Wim does the transfers and will help you with your check-in at the airport in Guayaquil. He speaks English, Spanish, French and Dutch.
KJETIL & CAMILO - President & Managing Director Kjetil Haugan is a Norwegian citizen, who has lived in Ecuador for almost 15 years. Kjetil is a great believer in socially responsible business. He always ensures that local people play a major part in the operations and share in its success. Kjetil is also the founder and main benefactor of the Simón Bolívar Volunteer Program. Immediately prior to moving to Ecuador Kjetil was the director of the Olympic Villages during the Lillehammer (Norway) 1994 and the Atlanta (USA) 1996 Olympic Games.
Camilo was born and raised in the Galapagos Islands. He used to be a fisherman but many years ago realized the long term social and environmental benefits of responsible tourism. Previously a captain aboard cruising yachts he now manages our operations on the Islands.
JIM – Sales & Finance Director
Jim is British and works with the team in Quito to make sure all those things behind the scenes operate smoothly so that your experience in Galapagos is a memorable one. Jim has extensive international business experience through his prior employments with General Motors and Ernst & Young.
Mauricio
Mauricio studied tourism at the Universidad Central del Ecuador, he is in charge of everything regarding flight reservations and the Ingala cards.
